Introducing Swift Talk Collections
Dear all,
With the annual Swift migration behind us, we’d like to take a moment to introduce something new: Collections, a beautifully designed way to browse our weekly Swift Talk episodes.
Curated around topics, each Collection acts as a series, threading together related episodes. Perhaps you’d like to know more about Reactive Programming, or App Architecture, or the Swift Language itself? Now you can go straight to the areas you find most interesting.
As new episodes are released, the Collections will grow.
There are improvements elsewhere: episode pages have a clearer layout, tiles replace lists, and better use of whitespace helps readability. If you'd rather read than watch, full hand-written transcripts and code snippets are more easily accessible.
Small details, but taken together we think they make for a much nicer experience.
Our thanks to Berliner Paulo Pereira for his thoughtful work on the design, and to the Oporto ‘collaborative design vortex’ Degrau for their custom illustrations. We hope you like them!
Offline viewing
From today, subscribers can download Swift Talk episodes for offline viewing. Finally!
Downloads are based on a credit system: Subscribers get four download credits a month, which can be used for any episode. The same episode can be downloaded as many times as you like.
As always, Subscribers get full access to our archive, with new weekly episodes, and new Subscriber-only episodes every two weeks. You also help keep our public episodes freely available for anyone to watch — thank you!
If you’re not yet a Subscriber, and you'd like to support us, you’d be very welcome.
Best from Berlin, Chris & Florian
